Thursday, April 10, 2025

6:00 - 8:00 pm

(times are tentative and may change slightly)

Rush Creek Golf Club (Maple Grove, MN) + online

Details and resolution submission form will be available soon!

The Resolution Forum gives members the opportunity to guide the work of MAFP leadership and staff.

Be a change agent for your patients, your colleagues and our specialty by participating in the Resolution Forum (formerly House of Delegates). As a member, you can author resolutions to help guide the work of the Academy in Minnesota and/or raise awareness of issues of importance to family medicine.

Author/co-author a resolution (by March 2)

Resolutions are written motions that allow members to bring forward the issues and priorities that are affecting family medicine across the state. You can author a resolution by yourself or collaborate with colleagues. Submit a resolution.

Collaborate on resolutions during regional member meetings (November-February)

The MAFP will schedule opportunities to meet with colleagues in your region and across Minnesota to discuss issues of concern to our communities. Watch our event calendar and your inbox for an opportunity near you.

Collaborate on resolutions during an All Member Meeting (January 30)

Join your colleagues (in person or online) to connect, share and learn about issues impacting health care in clinics/systems around the state, hear about legislative developments influencing health care in Minnesota, and partner on resolutions to bring issues forward to the 2025 Resolution Forum. See meeting details and register to attend.

Submit written commentary on resolutions (March 11-19)

All MAFP members may provide written comments on any resolution via our Resolution Forum microsite during the open comment period. Comments will be shared with the Reference Committee and utilized to make recommendations for action by members attending the Resolution Forum on April 10.

Having trouble commenting? Contact us.
Attend the Resolution Forum (April 10, 6:00 – 8:00 pm)

All members are invited and encouraged to attend (online or in person) to discuss resolutions and vote whether to adopt them to help guide the work of the MAFP.

The Reference Committee will present each resolution with their recommendation (motion) as to what action to take—adopt, not adopt, refer to the board of directors or file for information.

Participants will have the opportunity to speak for or against the Reference Committee’s recommendation and suggest changes before voting on an outcome. (All participants—online or in person—will have equal opportunity to speak.)

Resolutions and voting will be accessible through our Resolution Forum microsite.

Dinner will be available.
