About the MAFP Foundation
More than thirty years ago, the leaders of the MAFP gathered to form a nonprofit foundation to carry out the philanthropic work of its members and improve the health of ALL Minnesotans.
Through the financial support of MAFP members and donors, the MAFP Foundation supports educational and scientific initiatives that advance family medicine and improve health outcomes of patients and communities.
We have awarded more than 123 innovation and research grants to practicing family physicians, family medicine residents and medical students since 1995.
The MAFP Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 organization. Donations are 100% tax deductible as allowed by law.
Join us in advancing family medicine, equipping leaders, leading innovations in practice-based research and clinical care AND improving the health of ALL Minnesotans.
