Our group Knowledge Self-Assessment (KSA) sessions help you to complete the 60 clinically relevant questions in the module and meet your ABFM Continuous Certification requirement.
- Participants work through 60 clinically relevant questions in the module with an experienced facilitator and content expert, who advise when questions arise. (Question packets are provided.) Allow 4 hours for completion.
- Answers are submitted as a group by the MAFP.
- Participants are credited for completion of the knowledge self-assessment. See details about the certification process and requirements.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits
A completed KSA provides 10 certification points and 8.00 Knowledge Self-Assessment, Live Prescribed AAFP credits toward ABFM certification requirements. Application for credit is filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians.
The ABFM reports the 8.00 AAFP credits to the AAFP on the participants’ behalf following each session.
American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
The ABFM Continuous Certification process requires that diplomates accumulate 50 certification points in each three-year stage with completion of at least one KSA activity. A completed KSA will provide 10 certification points and 8.00 Knowledge Self-Assessment, Live Prescribed AAFP Prescribed credits toward ABFM certification requirements.
