2024 Transition to Practice – Partnership Registration

Introduce your organization to Minnesota’s newest family physicians and demonstrate support of family medicine in Minnesota.

Limited to five sponsors.

Benefits:

  • 30-second recorded presentation delivered during the event (will be scheduled to maximize audience reach)
  • Recognition across event promotional materials and in one issue of Minnesota Family Physician magazine
  • Social media posts by the MAFP, acknowledging your sponsorship (includes a minimum of two posts)
  • Display table to connect with attendees and share information about your organization
  • Registration for two representatives to attend the event

Audience: Minnesota medical students, family medicine residents and family physicians within their first seven years of practice

Price: $2,500

Sponsorship Eligibility: This event will be accredited for continuing medical education. Sponsorship is open to organizations that provide clinical services directly to patients or education to health professionals or serve as a fiduciary to patients, the public or population health. If you represent a commercial organization, contact us to explore other partnership options.

Sponsorship registration is rolling, but registration is required by certain dates to receive some benefits.

Recognition across event promotional materials and signage and in one issue of Minnesota Family Physician magazine

Deadlines:

  • as quickly as possible to maximize promotional visibility
  • October 16, 2024, for inclusion in signage

Provide the following information:

  1. The URL you would prefer that your logo link to in digital materials
  2. Your organization’s logo – as a fully-vectored art file (EPS, AI, SVG, or PDF). If you are unsure which file to provide, consult your corporate marketing department or agency. (We cannot guarantee quality displays of logos on published materials unless we are provided with a fully-vectored art file.)

Social media posts by the MAFP, acknowledging your partnership (includes a minimum of two posts)

Deadline: as quickly as possible (to maximize benefit)

The MAFP will use the same logo and URL described above.

Provide your company’s channels/handles for Instagram, Facebook, X (fka Twitter), and/or LinkedIn (to help us tag you in our social media posts).

30-second presentation, delivered during the event (will be scheduled to maximize audience reach)

Your message must be approved by the MAFP in advance. Focus your message on how your organization supports family medicine and family physicians, as a direct address by a representative of your organization rather than a promotional video format.

Provide the following information:

  • YouTube URL of your video for review and approval, and to embed in our PowerPoint slides (if you cannot provide a YouTube video URL, contact us for other options)

Display table to connect with attendees and share information about your organization

  • Whether your table will need electrical access.

Registration for two representatives to attend the event

Deadline: October 30, 2024

Provide the following information about each attending representative:

  • Name with designations (e.g., MD, DO, PhD)
  • Email address
  • Job title
  • Pronouns (optional)
  • Dietary restrictions or accessibility accommodation needs (if any)
  • Whether they wish to claim CME for attending sessions

Notice of Filming and Photography: The MAFP may take photographs and/or record audio and video at this event. By attending, your representatives consent to the use of photographs, audio and video recordings of your representatives by the MAFP and its designees in MAFP communications and promotions, or for any other lawful purpose.

Display Table Details
  • Your display space includes one five-by-two-foot table and two chairs.
  • Tables will be arranged against walls or back-to-back with other tables. (Plan on a tabletop display. Space is cozy, and it may not be possible to use a pop-up floor display.)
  • Tables will be assigned by the MAFP in advance and marked by table tents on site.

Venue Policies
  • Carts may not be taken though exterior doors of Wilder Center. All load-in that needs to occur on carts must go through the loading dock on the back side of the building. See map.
  • Media streaming services (with the exception of YouTube) are disabled throughout Wilder Center.
  • The exhibitor assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages and claims arising out of exhibitor’s activities on the venue premises and will indemnify, defend and hold harmless the venue, its owner and its management company, as well as their respective agents, servants and employees from any such losses, damages and claims.
  • Storage space is not available for display materials and/or show merchandise.
MAFP Policies
  • The MAFP will not guarantee the security of unattended exhibits.
  • All exhibits must be installed and ready by 9:00 am.
  • All exhibit items must be removed from the venue by 12:30 pm.
  • Interference with normal traffic flow is not allowed.
  • Only bite-sized (1 oz.) treats in original packaging may be distributed at exhibits.
  • No helium balloons are permitted in the exhibitor area.
  • Offensive promotions by exhibit personnel will not be tolerated.
  • Orders may be taken, but exhibitors may not conduct sales transactions (exchange of money) during the event.
  • Exhibitors who fail to observe venue or MAFP policies or who, in the opinion of the MAFP, conduct themselves unethically will be asked to leave without refund.
