COVID-19 Vaccine Perceptions, Information Sources and Trust: Learning from Community-Engaged Research

- Learn about perceptions surrounding COVID-19 vaccines in Minnesota, exploring how factors such as information sources and trust influence attitudes toward vaccination and vaccine uptake.
- Explore community-engaged research methods and opportunities, recognizing its importance in understanding factors that influence health decisions such as vaccination.
About the Presenter: Doheny is a postdoctoral associate at the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth campus. Her background in environmental health sciences informs her interest in advancing a holistic approach to health and health care that encompasses social and environmental determinants of health. Living in rural Minnesota, Doheny has developed an awareness of rural health disparities. Her research involves developing new ways to assess and address rural health needs through community-engaged research, collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
