Partnership opportunities to connect with and support Minnesota’s next generation of family physicians. Over 65 Minnesota medical students, family medicine residents and Minnesota residency program faculty and leaders come together at one time, in one place, at this three-day family medicine event.

National Conference

It is THE place where more than 3,200 medical students and family medicine residents come to explore family medicine residency programs, connect with potential employers, learn clinical procedures, become leaders and gather the information and resources they need to become a family physician.

Partnership Opportunities

Your residency program or health care organization can reach 65+ Minnesota medical students and residents, leaders and faculty, at one time, in one place, at this exciting family medicine event. Three partnership options are available.

Student & Resident Resource Directory (NEW) – $200  Purchase Now

The MAFP Student & Resident Resource Directory is an advertisement-style directory of health care organizations, featuring career opportunities, resources and tools for Minnesota’s future family physicians. The directory offers unique exposure to a wide variety of health care organizations working to improve health care in Minnesota. Place your one-page ad about your organization in the directory that is passed around to Minnesota residents and students traveling via chartered bus to and from Kansas City.

After you register, submit the following by July 10, 2020, to office@mafp.org, Attn: National Conference Partnerships: PDF file (print-ready, one page, color, 8.5" x 11").

Benefits:

  • One-page ad about your health care organization in the MAFP Student & Resident Resource Directory.
  • Name on the MAFP’s event webpage for the AAFP National Conference, name on digital signage at the Minnesota Reception and name on the printed reception invitation (print deadlines apply).

Student Scholarship – $500  Purchase Now

Support efforts in Minnesota to fill the workforce pipeline with the best and the brightest future family medicine leaders by partnering a Minnesota medical student to attend the AAFP National Conference. Your support funds a Minnesota medical student’s charter bus transportation from Minnesota to Kansas City, conference registration and lodging.

  • Logo on the MAFP’s event webpage for the AAFP National Conference, logo on digital signage at the Minnesota Reception and name on the printed reception invitation (print deadlines apply).

Minnesota Reception – $1,000  (not available this year)

Be recognized at Minnesota’s reception at the Alamo Drafthouse in Kansas City on Friday, July 31, at 6:30 pm. Over 200 medical students, family medicine residents, and program faculty from Minnesota and across the country attend this popular networking event. Faculty, leaders and program staff from Minnesota Family Medicine Residency Programs also attend the event to meet the next generation of family physicians.

Benefits:

  • Up to three tickets to attend the reception.
  • Introduction by hosts during the program at the reception.
  • NEW: Minnesota medical student attendee mailing data for one-time use, provided by the MAFP directly to partner’s selected mail house at least two weeks prior to the conference. (Minnesota medical student attendees choose to opt in or out of the mailing list when registering for the conference; mailer must be approved by the MAFP.)
  • NEW: One-page ad about your health care organization in the Student & Resident Resource Directory (see description above).
