Mental Health in the Community: Virtual ABFM Knowledge Self-Assessment

Sunday, October 27, 2019 | 5:00 pm Central | online
allow 4 hours for completion

(This session is open to resident and physician members of the Minnesota AFP only.)

A virtual KSA session delivered to a group of physician learners from Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota and Wisconsin. This innovative program uses a robust web-based system that allows family physician learners from across the country the opportunity to complete the KSA while engaging their peers and an expert content leader from a location of their choosing.

How it works: The day of, participants will use an online polling system to work through KSA questions with our CAD expert. Our main goal is to pass the exam, with an expert speaker offering assistance when questions arise. First, questions will be displayed giving participants approximately 30 seconds to respond (time varies based on speed of participant response). Next, results will be displayed and discussed. Finally, answers will be submitted as a group and individuals will be credited for completion of the knowledge self-assessment.

What you need to participate: To participate, you will need a computer (desktop or laptop) with a reliable high-speed internet connection and a completed registration. You will also need a telephone and/or speaker capabilities. A microphone is NOT needed as all lines will be muted.

Registration is limited to 15. Register by October 18, 2019, to guarantee your spot. Registrations made after this date may not be accommodated.

Application for live continuing medical education (CME) credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.
