We offer KSA (formerly SAM) sessions to help you fulfill the 60-question Knowledge Self-Assessment and meet your ABFM’s Family Medicine Certification Self-Assessment Activities requirement.

Physicians work together to complete the assessment and the answers are recorded with ABFM on your behalf. The session is facilitated and a content expert is also on hand.

What to Expect

  • Review 60 core competency questions with an experienced facilitator and content expert, and decide the best answer with your colleagues.
  • The AAFP will report your answers directly to the ABFM on your behalf; if you have questions about ABFM certification, please contact ABFM.
