The Effects of Incarceration on Families

Rebecca Shlafer, PhD, MPH, is an assistant professor in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Her research focuses on the developmental outcomes of children with incarcerated parents and the programs and policies that impact families affected by incarceration.
