Third-year resident, Allina Health United Family Medicine Residency

Burgstahler is a third-year resident at Allina Health United Family Medicine Residency in St. Paul. He thrives on the joy that comes from treating a 2-year-old and learning from a 96-year-old. His clinical interests include addiction medicine and palliative care. He’s been using AI with problem-oriented medical record keeping via DAX (Dragon Ambient Experience), in addition to other evolving chart-based AI tools. He plans to work at Allina Health Highland Park Clinic next year as an Information Services Medical Director and family physician.
