Minnesota Reception + Student Travel Funding

Support Minnesota medical students in attending the largest national gathering of students and residents interested in family medicine.
The event is an opportunity for students to explore family medicine as their specialty choice and for you to connect with students and residents interested in training and practicing in Minnesota at our reception on Friday night.
Benefits:
- Registration for two representatives to attend the Minnesota Reception on Friday, August 2, at the Hotel Kansas City.
- Recognition across MAFP event promotional materials, at the Minnesota Reception and in one issue of Minnesota Family Physician magazine
- Social media posts by the MAFP, acknowledging your sponsorship (includes a minimum of two posts)
Audience: Medical students from the University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic, plus medical students from across the country who are interested in training in Minnesota
Price: $2,500
Sponsorship registration is rolling, but registration is required by certain dates to receive some benefits. After you register, you will be contacted regarding fulfillment of your benefits and deadlines.
Key deadline: July 1, 2024
- Payment is due in full.
- Information about attending representatives due.
- Logo due for inclusion in event materials.

Instructions per Benefit
Registration for two representatives attend the Minnesota Reception on Friday, August 2, at the Hotel Kansas City
Deadline: July 1, 2024
Email lisa@mafp.org with information about each attending representative, as follows:
- Name with designations (e.g., MD, DO, PhD)
- Email address
- Job title
- Pronouns (optional)
Notice of Filming and Photography: The MAFP may take photographs and/or record audio and video at this event. By attending, your representatives consent to the use of photographs, audio and video recordings of your representatives by the MAFP and its designees in MAFP communications and promotions, or for any other lawful purpose.
Recognition across event promotional materials and in one issue of Minnesota Family Physician magazine
Deadlines:
- as quickly as possible to maximize promotional visibility
- July 1, 2024, for inclusion in signage

- The URL you would prefer that your logo link to in digital materials
- Organization logo
- Provide a vectored art file format (EPS, AI, SVG, or PDF), with all text converted to vectored graphics. If you are unsure which file to provide, consult your corporate marketing department or agency. (We cannot guarantee quality displays of logos on published materials unless we are provided with a vectored art file.)
Social media posts by the MAFP, acknowledging your sponsorship
