Plymouth Doctor Installed as President of the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians

(St. Louis Park)—The Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP) installed M. Tariq Fareed, M.D., as President of the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians on April 16, 2015, during its 69th Annual Meeting.
Dr. Fareed is a family physician at Park Nicollet Clinic, Plymouth, MN. As president, he will serve as the official representative and spokesperson for the MAFP, be a member of the Board of Directors and will chair the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, in addition to promoting the ideals and concepts of family medicine.
The Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians is a professional association of approximately 3,000 family physicians, family medicine residents and medical students established to assist family physicians in providing quality medical care in Minnesota. The MAFP is the largest medical specialty organization in Minnesota and is a state chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians, one of the largest national medical organizations in the United States, with 115,900 members.
