MAFP at your FMIG - Tackle Youth Smoking

Youth smoking is still a problem in Minnesota and we need the help of all medical students to advance policies that raise the tobacco purchase price from 18 to 21 years.  FMIGs can schedule a 45 minute presentation to learn what medical students can do to address this public health issue.  The presentation includes a “Call to Action” to raise awareness of youth smoking and demonstrate support for raising the tobacco purchase age.  Your partner, Lisa Regehr at the MAFP will assist with scheduling, location and dining options.  Contact Lisa to get on the schedule.

 FMIG Student Membership Ambassador Program

Family Medicine Interest Groups build awareness of family medicine and communicate the benefits of AAFP membership.
